Question:
Anyone with HealthNet have to pay out of pocket up front expenses?
I've heard some things, I wanted to know if anyone with HealthNet insurance has had to pay up front out of pocket expenses. I have HealthNet CalPERS, and I just got scheduled for a seminar, and I was told to go to the website, and I see on there that you have to pay 250 up front, whether you're approved or not. — Laydie K. I also have Healthnet (formerly PHS), and was covered 100% without any
out-of-pocket expenses. Good Luck!

I have HealthNet of Oregon and they're horrible - my out of pocket?
$25,000.00 IF there's no complications - it could go up from there.

i also have HealthNet (brown&toland) through UCSF in San Francisco and
so far so good...not 1 penny spent. The only thing I might have to pay for
is my psych eval because they said my ins won't pay(maybe). If i have to
spend 100-200 dollars to have my surgey paid in full-i can do that. I'm a
state of caliornia employee and i decided to go to my EAP to see if they'd
pay for a pysch eval-no way...they said no cuz the doctor can't put
anything (evaluation) in writing because it's confidential. thx for nuthin
EAP!! good luck and don't worry...you wo't have to pay
