Question:
Excluded both husb/mine ins.....any one ever have ins cover if excluded?

I have been saving up for my surgery....I'm sure exclusions on both my husbands and mine ins...called on both...was just told excluded.....has anyone ever went to the trouble with the situation and ended up having the ins co cover? I kind of feel like "why bother on one hand" but then If there was a chance....I'd feel stupid not trying...thanx    — Debora H. (posted on July 10, 2000)

I would most defiantly send a request for approval. I would still not get my hope up and continue to save. The worst they can say is no. What ever you do, good luck! *HUGS* Jay

On Friday my surgeons office called with my surgery date. This surgery was an exclusion on my companies insurance policy. They are self insured. I've been working since December to convince them to change the insurance policy. They did on June 18 effective July 1. My surgery is scheduled for Aug 18. I would certainly try nothing is impossible.
