Question:
i swell very bad when i use anything with caffine.

if caffine is a diuretic why do i swell whenever i drink to much tea or use a diet pill with caffine in it for extra energy? i gain an extra 5 or 6 pounds in one day if i take a diet pill to get the energy i need from time to time. then it takes a good week or more to get it off. does anyone have any ideas how i can combat this extra weight gain, while still using caffine from time to time.    — terri R. You are not suppose to take Caffeine. Caffine is a very bad NO NO.........if your energy is low, have your Iron checked and take your B12.........

I drink coffee with caffeine all the time and have no problem with it. As a matter of fact, I LOVE it better than anything and would rather drink than eat. My doctor said no problem as long as I drink plenty of other liquids. With that said, I can't imagine why you would be having the reaction you're having. I'd say talk to your doctor about it. It could be a reaction to something else entirely.
