Question:
Suggestion: a ranking like ebay for clothing exchange
There are currently three posts on the clothing exchange warning people about sending money. Let's face it we all get burned from time to time. However if a person is on here to scam money from innocent people thinking they are going to get cheap clothers then we need to let others know. Can we set up a feedback rating system to alert people of good and bad transactions. I for one have an ebay account and would let someone read my feedback if they wanted to be reassured. Just something to ponder. — Heather M. (posted on February 12, 2004)

I agree this would be a great idea. I have also read those posts about
people being ripped off by someone on the clothing exchange, it just takes
1 or 2 bad people to ruin it for everyone. I would love to see a feedback
system, so people could rate the exchanger.

i thought the point of the clothing exchange was to give clothes away from
free. atleast that was my understanding of it. i can understand people
asking for the other person to pay postage. setting up a rating system for
people would be kind of hard if someone only wanted to give clothing away
one time. what if there were a form that you had to fill out BEFORE you
were allowed to post anything on the clothing exchange. is there a way to
send a box COD? that way no money is exchanged.

I think it's a good idea. I have sent things to people only asking for
postage and haven't even gotten that small amount back.
Some clothes that are especially nice SHOULD be paid for. I guess we need
to have a way to keep everyone honest - unfortunately.
