Question:
The insurance company requested more info is this a bad thing?
I have pittmans and associates insurance, there's been 2 people I work with that has had this surgery done in the last 2 months, they have the same insurance and got approved with no problem, and I'm a bigger person. What's the deal? Please Help!!!!!!Luv- Cheryl Eddings — [Deactivated Member] (posted on June 10, 2003)

Could be very simple, like the other 2 people's request for authorization
had everything they were looking for and your submission might have been
missing a fact or two. Or, maybe they've implemented new guidelines at
their company for approval of the procedure. I wouldn't worry, but I might
ask exactly what else they are looking for so you can be aware, and maybe
get the info they want to them quickly.

I really dont think there is a problem. Maybe the info turned in was not
complete. At least they are asking for more info and not just saying no
because its incomplete. Just hurry up and get what they are asking for
back to them quickly! This happened to me also but I was not able to get
all the info together in a timely manner so they denied me and I had to
appeal! *_* Have a great day!
