The insurance company requested more info is this a bad thing?

I have pittmans and associates insurance, there's been 2 people I work with that has had this surgery done in the last 2 months, they have the same insurance and got approved with no problem, and I'm a bigger person. What's the deal? Please Help!!!!!!Luv- Cheryl Eddings
