Question:
Any recommendations for a letter after a denial?
BC/BS has denied me say I don't meet the critea. My bmi has be over 40 since 1997, (no documentation before that) I am 150lbs overweight, I have had my phyc. evaluation and my Dr. has said it is medically necessary for me to have this surgery to lose weight. I have comorbidities. I need help. What more do they want? I asked them and then told me I didn't fit the guidelines. I gave it to them in Black and White. Any suggestions? PLEASE. — Lora T. first of all i would suggest filling out more forms,to apply again,,,you
have your rights to appeal,,,,if your shot down again,,,you could contact
walter lindstom,,he is aan attorny that is reasonalbe,,who goes after your
insurence company,,,,in my case,,,i didnt have any exemptions in my
contract,,but,,,the answer was, no, because, this surgery was not the
norm,,for a weight problem,,well,needless to say,i thought fighting that
anwwer was going to take me 100 yrs,,so i was self pay in mexico,i got the
adjustable lap band, and am real glad that i did, blessings to you,
