Question:
WHAT COULD BE CAUSING Headaches
I am getting alot of headaches these past couple of weeks. Mostly at night. I am 6 months post op. Could this have anything to do with something lacking in my body i.e vitamin or potassium or anything else. I am also getting grouchy alot which could be from lack of my B12 even though I give myself my shot once a month. Any suggestions? — michelle M. (posted on January 12, 2001)

It's really odd......I am having the same problem. I too am 6 months
post-op and I have noticed that I am getting headaches quite frequently. I
had headaches quite often pre-op and NONE since surgery until now. I would
be very interested in the responses to this question. Thanks for asking, I
thought it was just me!

Are you getting enough protein? I get like that when my protein level is
low. Late afternoon was bad for me , so I take my protein to work and have
it about 2 or3 o'clock. Perks me right up. I mix it with diet rite
tangerine diet pop it has splenda in it , it's really good. Also keep your
fluid level up. Our bodies have been through so much, so many changes. I
hope this helps you. God Bless.

You all may be having a problem with hypoglycemia. If you are having
headaches, dizziness, excessive thirst and hunger you may want to check
with your primary care physician.
