Question:
Chanaging Insurance in the middle of Application Will my new insurance turn me down

My husbands co. is changing insurance companies and I have already applied with my present insurance and I don't know if the next insurance co. will turn me down because of pre-existing condition. Anyone know how this works, cause I am tempted to pay to continue the old insurance till this is approved.    — Claire L. (posted on September 7, 2000)

My husbands insurance was changed right after my doctor filed for approval. I dearly wish I had of kept with them because our new insurance (which was supposed to be better) has an exclusion and refuses to pay. It would be worth the extra money to keep what you have as long as there is no exclusion. Good luck. Hopefully better than me.
