Hi! I don't have an answer for you, but I wanted you to know you are not alone! I am 16 months post op; I have not lost anything in 5 months (I have gained 5 pounds in the last few weeks). I have been eating terribly and not exercising at all (I know...BAD BAD BAD!). But I decided I was getting back on track as of September 1st and I am joining weight watchers on Thursday. It's funny, I used to join WW because I couldn't weigh myself at home, now I can, but I'm not doing what I should. I am hoping to join WW for a few weeks, get myself back in line and be accountable to myself, not just the person weighing me in! Good luck to us both!! Keri (357/216/175)

Well, I just posted to a similar question, so will not repeat that, but will add to both to check in with the Grad list for those who have regained and some who have beaten it. The link is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Graduate-OSSG

It's so easy to fall back into our old habits (eating and non-exercise). We have to REMEMBER that this surgery provided a tool for us to lose weight. You have a 8 month to 12 month window to lose the bulk of your weight, then it will slow down to a normal weight lose (couple lbs a week). I have stayed the same or flex between 136 and 140. Your body adjusts to your eating and the weight lose will slow. This is when you really have to watch what you eat and EXERCISE. If you are gaining I would go back to basics (eat at a table, put fork down , etc.). You should not be eating more then a 1/2 cup of food. Go back to high protein liquids, soft foods, etc. Start over and write everything that goes in your mouth. Make sure you join a support group of people who have had this surgery. They are the best source of information. We have to be honest with ourselves. Are we overeating?
