Question:
Can someone help me with a letter of appeal for exclusion for a specific reason?

I was denied by my PPO for WLS. There is an exclusion in the policy stating that it wouldn't pay if you've had this done before. Well, i had a stomach stapling 21 years ago, but not the Gastric Bypass. Is there someone who can offer me some suggestions please!! You can email me at [email protected] so much!!!    — Starla J. try filing an appeal, the surgery you had 21 yrs ago is nothing like the ones that are done today, there was a 98% failure rate with that old type of surgery, they have came a long way in improving it, It was not your fault that it failed, it was the way the surgery was done that caused the staples to erupt File your appeal and present the facts Good Luck
