Question:
How do I get back on track?
It will be 2 years on the 7th of Jan. Since I had my surgery, I have lost 142 pounds but still need to lose another 30 how do I get back on track to do this? I haven't lost anything in over 6 months, is this it? I am going crazy, do I have to go back to eating like I did when I first had my surgery? The throught of eating soup all the time is going to make me sick. I eat more then I think I should be, in fact I know I do, I can eat a whole happy meal, and sometimes I still don't feel full. I know I should never have started to eat the breads and pasta. If anyone can help please hurry, I really want to get the rest off. Thank you Terri — Terri Z. (posted on December 28, 2001)

Terri, you answered your own question I think if you just leave off the
carbs like breads and pastas you would probably get back on track.also
think what you went thru to do this and maybe get a few sessions with
counsiling I'm sure would help. good luck. nancy m.

Terri, WOW! 142 lbs is great! You should be very proud of yourself. I am
sure you have learned a great deal on how to eat during the 2 yrs. You
could probably advise a lot of us! Anyhow, although I haven't lost but 85
lbs I have read a lot that increasing your protein, drinking the 64 oz of
water, and exercising will get you started losing again. Have you regained
any of the lost weight? You have accomplished a great deal and I am sure
you will reach your goals. I also read where somebody started keeping a
very truthful food diary for a few days and added up all the carbs,
proteins, fats, etc. Then they could clearly see where the problem was.
Good luck and remember you have really lost a lot already!
