Question:
Does anyone know where gastric bypass surgeons receive training in southern states?

I cannot afford the surgery (20,000-30,000) I am a single mom with 2 babies and no support from my ex husband:(Insurance denied and my local voc. rehab. is very ugly to me! They make me feel like nothing and also tell me it will be months before they have money to help me--and even then not sure if i will be one of the ones they select.??? Hi just wanted to say that it might possibly be true also look around for military trials. I know the base I live on is doing free breast augmentation surgeries for experience, with the on looker of a trainer surgeon. I am not sure if I'd like to be an experiment but if i was desperate hey anything goes right :) Good luck

I went to a training hospital in Jackson Ms for my hystrectomy. I am not sure what state you are in but feel free to mail [email protected] I had my hystrectomy, I had the head surgeon (teacher) and 14 other interns in the room. I definantly felt safe. As far as comparison....A normal vaginal hystrectomy would have cost me 18,000 complete then at a regular hospital...I paid a little over 5,000 for the same. Only draw back was semi-private room and no phone in room.....had to walk down the hall to use the phone.
