Question:
does Jenny Craig count as a medically supervised diet???????
My health insurance co. requires now a medically supervised diet for 12 months. Would Jenny Craig be considered a supervised diet??? I was on it for 10 months. I don't like to take diet pills because they make my heart fluttler and pound alot.So I am wondering if Jenny Craig is enough for the criteria. Thanks — Laura G. (posted on April 14, 2001)

When I filled out paperwork for my doctor, I put Jenny Craig and Weight
Watchers, he said that they are considered supervised diets. You have to
check and and be weighed, so they are supervised. I hope that I helped.
My insurance approved after about 6-7 days. My surgery is in 9 days.
Woo-Hoo!!! Good luck with your journey.
