Question:
Pre op bloodwork problems
My surgery is scheduled for July 11th, today the Dr's office calls and tells me that they have to postpone my surgery because I am VERY anemic and I have to go see yet another Dr. that specializes in blood problems, has anyone else experienced this? HELP! I am getting very discouraged. Thanks. — TraciB06 (posted on July 1, 2005)

Traci, start taken chlorphyall 100mg 3times a day and you will see a big
improvemnet in your blood levels in less then a week. the heathfood store
or even cvs carries this. it comes in capsules or liquid.have your doctor
re draw your CBC in a week to 10days to see your great improvment. dont
throw in the towel..you can improve this quickly. all the best! Tracey

Hi, I wasnt anemic, but my WLS was postponed twice due to my white blood
count being to high, then I had to see my regular doc for antibiotics,,then
finally had my surgery, It's very disapointing, but its something they will
be able to correct, then on with your surgery, just remember you are
working toward something positive, and it will all work out in the end.
Just try to keep your chin up, I know how you feel,, good luck to you, Amy
