Question:
Has anyone appealed to employer because they did not purchase the rider?

My husband's job did not purchase the rider and therefore we have a wls exclusion. My only hope is to appeal to my husband's employer. Does anyone have any ideas or info they could share with me...what to write, what to include, etc. Thanks!!!    — Baby Blues (posted on July 15, 2004)

I did and lost. They told me to wait until open enrollment and switch to another plan. I did that and finally got the surgery. . .over a year later. Whatever you do, stick with it. Don't ever give up. Tom LAP RNY 9/23/03 341/192 -149
