Question:
Do they round up BMI 34.5 to 35?
My BMI for the last 4 years has been 40+, however 5 years ago it was 34.5. They are reviewing my paper work now. I'm so worried they won't count 34.5 as being 35. Oh, I also have sleep apnea, so a BMI of 35 qualifies. I was denied a year ago because of the 6 month diet rule. I did the diet and sent my papers in. Do you know if they round up 34.5 to 35? — greg17 (posted on November 2, 2003)

I suppose every Dr. is different, but I would think they would use the BMI
you currently are. Also if you have struggled with your weight your BMI is
bound to go up and down, so I wouldn't worry about it.
Good Luck!
