Question:
A little round ball at the incision sometimes there--is it a hernia?
I have what appears to be a hernia at my incision site but I'm not sure. Sometimes it poofs out and feels hard like I am pregnant in my upper incision by the ribs--other times it is not there. I didn't lift anything for three months and I was very careful--does it sound like a hernia to you? No pain other than a clicking when I bend forward. It's a weird feeling! Is it dangerous? — who A. I would call your surgeon, but it sounds like it. I had one repaired in May
and will know have another repaired when I have my TT November 17th. Good
Luck!

Hi there. Those small round knots at your incision spots are not hernias -
they are healing spots. My surgeon says it's normal to have it. It is built
up tissue that will eventually smooth back out.

If it bulges further when you bear down, then it may very well be a hernia.
This is how most Dr.'s identify hernias.
