Kathy, do not worry your little head at all. When I was 4 months post op I
had lost 59 pounds and then went 3 1/2 weeks and lost NOTHING. Then in one
week I lost 9 pounds without changing any habits. I think that the body
needs to re-adjust sometimes. I am 5 months post and down 72 pounds. Just
hang in there and good luck.

Take it from the Plateau Queen...your weight loss is far from over! I
started my journey on April 24, 2002 (coming up on my 1-yr anniversary!!).
I'm 5'2" and weight 289 the day of surgery. I have had several
plateaus over the past year, with my first one right around 3 months. They
last anywhere from 1 week to 2 months (OUCH!) and every time I think
"Well, this must be it!" However, it never fails...the plateau
breaks and the scale starts moving again. Sometimes I hit a plateau
because my body needs it and sometimes it is my own fault (fall off the
exercise wagon, eat too many carbs, don't drink enough water, etc)...either
way, you will know how to deal with it and get over it. I have lost 129
pounds and 89 inches so far. I went from a size 28/30 to a size 8!!! Keep
the faith!
