Question:
!! Afraid to try anything with more than 6 grams of sugar!
Some sport drinks and other things have a lot of sugar in them, I'm afraid to try them b/c I don't want to feel sick. I have yet to have any ill episodes so I'm staying away from alot of things but I don't want to deprive myself! What drinks etc... have you all tried that have more than 10 grams of sugar? (like Fruitworks etc...??)I have tried Powerade and Gatorade but taste nasty to me. I need something to quench my thirst! — Sunny4x4chick (posted on September 9, 2002)

Sunny, I have enjoyed no sugar added cranberry juice. I also love Diet
Snapple Cranbery Raspberry juice. I'm not sure of the sugar grams on
these, but I know they are less than 10. Oh, I heard that the blackberry
Propel fitnes water was good. Good luck.

I have had only small sips of orange juice and apple juice - and no dumping
from that small amount...but I live for my Crystal Light - the pink
lemonade is wonderful! Why do you think you need a drink with more than 10
grams of sugar to quench your thirst?

Hi Sunny... I LOVE Crystal Light... Raspberry Ice is my favorite... I also
like ice cold water... does the trick for me... I try to stay away from the
high sugar juices... They make me feel ill and I don't like the diluted
taste so I don't mess with 'em...

I drink Diet Snapple like I owned stock in it. I especially like the Diet
Peach Iced Tea, which has no calories or sugar or carbs. I'm looking at
the label for Diet Snapple Cranberry Raspberry; it has 20 calories and 2
grams of sugar in 16 oz. The teas are all calorie- and sugar-free; the
other diet flavors have 20 calories and almost no carbs. (Gee, maybe I
*should* buy stock...)

I am 10 months post op today and still don't drink water. I live on Crystal
Light Lemonade. All the Crystal Light flavors are pretty good but the
lemonade is my favorite. Just make sure whatever you drink is DECAF. As
long as it is decaf it counts towards your water intake. You can also drink
fruit juice. Some people dilute it half water, half juice.

I drink a lot of Crystal Light pink lemonade. Their new raspberry lemonade
is very good too. As far as water, I do Fruit2o and Fruit2o Plus. I just
found Propel fitness water Black Cherry (made by Gatorade folks).
