Question:
my surgeon told me the incision is the shape of upside down

i had my first visit with the surgeon and he had asked me if i had any questions i said no i have read everything i could get my hands on and i was very imformed about the procedure.he then told me his incision is in the shape of an upside down 'v' and no it is not a laparoscopy. anyone hear of this or had it done?    — jenpres (posted on April 23, 2002)

Yes, my surgeon (Reading, PA) also does the upside-down V. He tells me that it is easier on the abdominal muscles, easier to get up and down, in and out of bed etc. And he also does not do laps. Hope this helps. Good luck!
