my surgeon told me the incision is the shape of upside down

i had my first visit with the surgeon and he had asked me if i had any questions i said no i have read everything i could get my hands on and i was very imformed about the procedure.he then told me his incision is in the shape of an upside down 'v' and no it is not a laparoscopy. anyone hear of this or had it done?
