EGG YOLK VS EGG WHITE
I AM A VEGATARIN AND CANT STAND EGGS CHHESE OR REALLY ANY DAIRY OR ANIMAL BY PRODUCT SO SAW A DIETICAN YESTERDAY AS A GUIDE ...I FORGOT TO ASK THIS QUESTION....IF YOU DONT LIKE EGG YOLK IS THERE STILL ALOT OF PROTIEN IN EGG WHITES OR IS IS MOSTLY IN THE YOLK....ALSO IF YOU DO EAT 1 WHOLE EGG CAN THAT BE CONSIDERED A MEAL.. — [Anonymous] (posted on November 13, 2001)

According to Mitch Sewall, a gourmet cook and food columnist who wrote the

(www.wlsguide.com) egg whites are the purest and best form of protein
available--the standard that other proteins are compared to. You can use
egg whites in high-protein smoothies. There are lots of good recipes in

The protein in the egg is in the white. The fat is in the yolk. I eat a lot
of eggs but try to stick to mostly the egg whites.

Or just use whey or soy products made with water or sugar free juices. NO
need to eat things that gross you out, or make you uncomfy. Our ability to
absorb has been encroached upon, so food proteins don't have the value they
once did for us, although there is certainly nothing wrong with eating them
in addition to a good supplement.

You can add it to stuff or scramble it...works just like eggs...:)
