Help finding a doctor

I had banding done in 1988 and so far so good. I am now gaining and need to find a doctor in Northwest N.J. who will adjust my band and also accept medicare and medicaide. I can not afford the 500.00 -1,000 so many are asking because they did not do the banding. If anyone can help... please!!    — Angel_Girl_13156 (posted on April 28, 2007)

Hi.. Go to this website and put in your zip code and "center of excellence" And you will find surgeons in your area. I know medicare required a center of excellence for them to pay for services. I would also double check with the surgeons offices before you go. http://www.asbs.org/html/about/membersearch2.html You might also go to your states forum on the OH site and see who others are using in your area.
