I used The Surgical Weight Loss Center in Dayton, Ohio. My surgeon was Dr.
David Fallang. The facility offers split-billing. I paid about $8000 for
my roux-en-y. The facility was fantastic and his staff was extremely
caring. I've had only positive experiences with Dr. Fallang and his staff.
Sure hope this helps.

I suggest you check out the Mini-gastric bypass with Dr. Rutledge and
associated, www.clos.net.
I was going to go with this, and then chose the duodenal switch for various
reasons. But it is pretty expensive. The mini-gastric costs $17,500
including hospital. But it is also possible your insurance won't cover it.
I consider it a viable alternative to the roux-en-y with a number of
advantages.
Good luck,
Jane

I know Georgia wasn't on the list of states you wanted, but my surgeon's
office only charges $26,500 (self pay) for the entire thing, so the part
insurance bill will be even cheaper. I know they have a great deal of
places that loan etc on their site. Here it is...good luck!
