Question:
How can we lose the weight we have put back on? We each have gained 20 lbs back.
My husband and I both had surgery 5 years ago. We did great and lost 115 lbs each. Now we have both put 20-25 lbs back on. We didn't realize how quickly we did! Now we need some help in getting back down to where we belong. Anyone have any diet plan they used to lose weight they have put back on? Any help will be very much appreciated. We are getting very depressed about this. Thank you so much. — naomisteph7 (posted on October 17, 2009)

I have not gained any weight back but have plateaued on my weight loss. I
was told to go back to weighing and measuring my food, no more than a cup
of food at any meal, 3 oz of meat which is about 1/2 cup and then I do a
1/4 cup of veggies and 1/4 cup of starch/carb.
Hope this helps :-)

ollowing a south beach style diet is recommended. Lowfat protien, veg and
fruit. No starches for a while. Cut the carbs to 60 grams a day. The longer
you stay with it the better. Also look at what you are eating. Are there
any trigger foods that cause you to snack more. Soda, Bread, Crackers, are
all foods that can triger eating.
Look at doing a food journal to see where you can cut back. A week of
journaling will usually show you the problem area. Increase excerise. This
often drops off when we get busy. Best wishes. You know you can do it!

intake > 15 a day, drinking my Nectar protein drinks and gym EVERYDAY!
