Did you ask your surgeon/nut what they thought? If it were me I would
start journeling everything that went into my mouth. Use some type of
protein for your snacks. Low fat cheese, yogurt with protein powder.
Either add a few calories or reduce them to shake you your system again.
Could it be water weight? Is it that time of month? The frozen dinners
are usually filled with sodium and that helps us to retain water.
I haven't gained anything yet but I have stopped losing a time or two and
this is what I did.
Good Luck!

Run, don't walk to your nutritionist. only he/she can help you or your
surgeon. does your surgeon have an on staff nutritionist/ 2 1/2 months is
too long to wait to see your doctor. you should be going more often so he
can monitor you. you may not be getting enough protein.

I saw the nut. yesterday. He said the main reason gain weight is drinking
while they are eating, because they never are actually full. Just a
thought.

Yvette, I"m not sure but I think that you may need to have your
thyroid checked if your Dr. hasn't already suggested it. I went through
something very similar and asked about my thyroid and with a simple blood
test found out that it was un-der active which causes many problems one of
which is weight gain or the inability to lose weight.

From what you wrote, it sure sounds like you are NOT eating enough protein
for the day. Are you getting in 60grams? Keep track in a notebook how many
oz/grams you put in your mouth. Do it each day until you get the hang of
how much 60 grams is. Remember 7 grams per oz. Weigh your food and then
multiple the number of ounces by 7. Write it down. Do it for each meal and
protein snacks. Also, a good way to keep track of your water each day.

Definately get your protein in - 20 grams at every meal BUT DO NOT FORGET
your carbohydrates. You need 30 grams at every meal. This 20/30 rule works
great.
