Question:
Is there any way I can shrink my pouch?
I am out 1 year and 2 months and very happy that i have gone from 370 to 230 and feel sooo much better but i have stopped losing and wonder if there is any way that i can get my pouch smaller just to lose about 80 more i am still considered overly obese and want to be healthy. — LUVY L. Hi Luvy Luvy!! First, congratulations on your success so far. As far as
shrinking your pouch, I recall reading in "Rules of the Pouch"
that if you go back to your liquid diet, almost like starting over from
what you did as an immediate post-op, it will help to bring your pouch
closer to where you were post-op. I am not sure, with the amount of time
that has passed, that you will get it to shrink all the way back to it's
previous size, but you may want to give this a try. Hope this helps!

You probably don't need to change your pouch size, just what you put in it.
Go back to protein, protein, protein w/ some veggies thrown in for
variety. This will get those last pounds off. It worked for me, and I can
put away quite a large meal these days.
