Question:
has any one had this happen to you and what was the out come?

i have already been approved for sugery i have had my psych eval already so i thought smooth sailing after this well.......my dr put in for an approval for an upper G I and it was denied..now this is mandatory for my dr and i believe alot of others ...how could this be...has anyone had this happen to them? and what was the out come? thanks i am soooo anxious now so worried HELP!!!! just a thought here, but, ask ur dr to make it medically necessary to have the upper gi by telling the insurance co u r suffering from digestion problems...heartburn, indigestion etc. good luck!

YEP! Unfortunately doctors today need to lie to get testing done. Sad state of affairs. Just come up with a reason like ulcers or something. I remember some fast thinking about justfying a treadmill test pre op. Have you EVER had chest pains? Well once I.... That will do, chest pains it is..... They were caused by pneamonia, NOW DONT TELL US THAT, WE DIDNT HEAR YOU, SUSH:(
