Question:
where can i receive financial help for this surgery

i am desperate to know where i can get financial help for the roux-en-y surgery. my insurance is not following through, walter lindstrom said from my info--it is not a legal matter for him to assist. i want to lead a more productive life. i have tried every avenue that i know of looking for help. i would be so appreciative if anyone can forward ideas to me. thank you    — [Anonymous] (posted on August 13, 1999)

I don't know how to go about this in the US, but did you know that you can get a Roux-en-Y gastric bypass in England for around $10,000? Bearing in mind what it costs in the US I know plenty of people taking a cheap flight and saving a lot of money.

There is a medical financing company called JayHawk. It finances cosmetic surgery. I have seen it advertised on TV but do not have the number, maybe an internet search or something. I had to self-pay and what we did was get a personal loan for the amount to get surgery. I am still paying that note. I had to finance it for 2 years to be able to aford it and put some things up for collateral, I told the bank I was having a surgical procedure , that was why I needed the loan. Hi I was having trouble getting the money to pay for my plastic surgery and was searching and searching and wasting money on programs when I came across the one I used.
