Dee, I could be wrong but the 'at least 200gm of carbs' could be the
problem. If you eat 6 meals a day, that would mean you are eating over 33
carb gms at each meal/snack and that is probably too much in the carb
category. If you have any prediabetes or diabetes issues, this is doubly
important. Check with your surgeon or doctor about the carbs you should
eat. When I ate that many carbs, I might as well have chewed a garlic
clove (which is actually a healthy thing). I didn't have loads of 'close'
friends at that time. Lyn

With DS, You need to get in your calories...so I do not believe that
cutting back your carbs will be a good idea at all....But taking a
probiotic will help tremendously! I found this awesome site for you! It
has a WEALTH of information including my ever growing love of probiotics,
as a good way to help!! Good luck with this and your revision!

I would go to the doctor to make sure something from the surgery isn't
causing this. Also do you have a nutritionist. That is a lot of carbs but
what form of carbs are you eating?
Investigate further and good luck.

Hi Dee, I'm not sure what exactly is causing the bad breath, but there is a
mouth wash on the market called "Dr. Katz Thera Breath" and it is
supposed to stop bad breath instantly. I have had success with it so far.
Good luck.
