Question:
Sould I change from a c-pap to a bi-pap I hope to have surgery soon?

I just had another sleep study done and it was recomended that I go to a bi-pap set at 24 and 14 from my current c-pap set at 15, or should I use this as a barganing chip if I have to fight my insurance company?    — MARK N. (posted on September 5, 2000)

Mark, I use a C-PAP set at 15 also. I know that as soon as my ins was told that I suffered from sleep apnea- it took no time to reverse their denial. So I would definalty use it! But I don't believe it would make any difference to them if it were a Bi-PAP or C-PAP. Good luck!
