Sould I change from a c-pap to a bi-pap I hope to have surgery soon?

I just had another sleep study done and it was recomended that I go to a bi-pap set at 24 and 14 from my current c-pap set at 15, or should I use this as a barganing chip if I have to fight my insurance company?
