Question:
DGL (deglycerinated) licorice has anyone tried this for an ulcer?

I have tried Nexium and Omeprazole(prescription Prilosec) and am having bad reactions to both. Have gotten very dizzy. Have been doing some research on home remedies and came a crossed the DGL Licorice and was wondering if anyone has ever tried this and if so any complications?    — cmoulder (posted on June 1, 2009)

I have not tried that. Protonic and cafafate are what my doctor gave me for an ulcer. You want to get it cleared up fast. With the reduced pouch it can be very damaging.
