Question:
OH Magazine subscription - very frustrated

I ordered the OH Magazine 1/1/10 and have still not rec'd an issue. Just wondering if anyone else has had this. They took the money out of my account right away, but I am beginning to wonder if I am going to start getting the magazines. It has been over 2 1/2 months for crying out loud. I have gone to the magazine section and can't find a way to get hold of them. Just wondering how long it is going to take them to send them to me and then if I will really get a years worth. Same thing with me, also frustrated...also they dropped the price right after they charged my card. It took about 2-3 months to get my first issue an now i only have gotten maybe 3 issues and I've had the subscription since May or so.

I signed up for the magazine in January and received my first issue in Feb. Its a magazine they only print I believe six times a year, so it might take a little longer. I am sure there is a number somewhere you can call if you do not receive it. Email me and I will see if i can find my copy, and get the phone number/address in the magazine.

Dawn: Please keep in mind that this magazine is only published 6x per year; thus you will only receive 6 issues every 12 months and not the typical 12 issues as with a "regular" subscription. I would think perhaps OH received your subscription request just as an issue was going to press and thus why the delay. You should likely receive a copy soon, but if not here is the information for you to contact them. I would suggest a phone call and then a written follow-up to track how much time has passed between your attempts before you lose any sleep over it! I to had a problem in the beginning. I called them and it was an error with my address. They were very apologetic and took care of the problem. I have been getting it on a regular basis now.

I ordered mine 1/21/10. They told me it would be awhile before I got my first issue. I did receive the March/April issue at the beginning of March. That was reasonable to me because I had probably placed my order after the January/February issue went out.

I, too, experienced quite a delay in receiving my first issue. I subscribed online last year on June 2nd. I still had not received the magazine on August 13th, so I called them. Customer Service told me that my first issue would be the September issue. I received it on August 27th. They had said that it could take 8-10 weeks for delivery of your first issue, but it took 3 months to receive mine. I understand the 6-issue a year status, but it appears I could have received my first issue two months earlier than I did based on the every two months distribution.

Thanks for you help everyone. Trish, thanks for the phone number and address. I called and they said that an issue had been sent out at the beginning of March, but they would send me another one. Hopefully that will get everything going on a regular basis.
