I have spoken to three plastic surgeons' offices. They have told me that either they are not contracted with insurance companies/or they make you pay up front and then they will process claim for surgery. I have Medicare as my primary and Cigna as my secondary. I need tummy tuck/ventral hernia repair and breast lift. All are medically necessary and well documented. Complain that the hanging skin is causing you skin irritation. Rashes and that the loose skin that is hanging is hurting your back. That is how my sister got medicare to pay for it.
