Question:
What pain medication if most used post-op.
My concern is be sick to my stomach. I know there are certain medications that do not make you feel sick to your stomach. Vicodan, loratab , tylenol 3 or 4 have always made me feel a little queazy with food. I can only imagine with out eating too much... anyone have any suggestions on pain meds that do not make you feel so sick — [Anonymous] (posted on September 2, 2001)

I was on Percoset for a couple of days, then I took extra

Yes, take Phenergan with pain meds, it is little pill and also available in
suppositories. Will help immensely!

I took Oxyfast which is a form of oxycodone hydrocholde. It has been in
the news a lot lately....very addicting. Called oxycontin but I had the
liquid form. Very good for stomach spasms but doctors don't like to
prescribe now because of the abuse by people. It was great!

I was given demoral in the hospital. It made me wacky. I was pulling all
of my tubes out. I don't know what they gave me after that but it worked
just fine and when I went home I had good old Tylenol 3. I still have
almost the whole bottle in my medicine cabinet because I didn't need it all
that much after got home.
