Question:
IS THERE A HAND HELD ICE CRUSHER?
I am looking for the lazy man's (woman's) way to make my protein shake. I would like to make them like the smoothies with alot of crushed ice but don't want to mess with big ice crushers. Any suggestions would sure be appreciated. I am pre op (Aug) and absolutely love this sight. A GREAT BIG THANKS TO ALL OF YOU — JEANNE V. (posted on July 8, 2001)

I use my hand held Braun mixer to make my protein shakes, ice included. I
use a VERY large cup, first mixing the liquid and protein and whatever else
I plan on throwing in. Then I add ice cubes about 2 or 3 at a time. The
Braun handles them just fine. Just use a gentle up and down motion and
make sure your cup is big enough to keep it from splattering all over the
kitchen!!!

I bought an ice crusher from NewYorkFirst.com - see <a

page</a> for details. Its perfect, and I love it! With shipping, it
came to $57.25.

If it's shaved ice you're wanting, then I suggest you buy the electric ice
shaver at http://hawaiianshavedice.com/electricshaver.html I bought one
and absolutely love it! They even have sugarfree syrups to make sno-cones.
