Katherine, exercise helps me deal with stress.
Best of luck.

Katherine, my prayers are with you. If you are moving to a new area,
contact your local hospital and find out if they have a support group for
bariatrics. Will you be in a rural or urban area? How far away from your
old home?Look at this as a chance to begin again with people who did not
know you at your fatest!
For stess and depression, try exercise, taking up a new hobby (craft
classes at your local MIchaels, Rag shop, or other craft store are not too
expensive), or just get out and go places where you can meet people.
also, there is nothing to take your mind off your own problems like helping
others. If you knit or crochet, you can help out with making blankets or
hats for the needy, children in hospitals, or soldiers. Anyone can
volunteer at a soup kitchen. If nyou enjoy reading, you can read to
shut-ins (your local churches and synagogues will know how), and animal
shelters always neee extra hands to love the kitties and doggies.
there are so many things to do, you are sure to be able to find someone who
needs you.
For stress,
