Question:
WHY CAN'T YOU ACTUALLY TALK TO ANYONE IN MEDICAL REVIEW OR APPEAL BOARD?
I HAVE 2 POLICIES WITH BC/BS OF AL. AND TO DATE I AM VERY DISAPOINTED IN THEM. MY BMI IS NOT 40 BUT IT IS BETWEEN 35 AND 40 AND I HAVE SIGNIFICANT CORMORBITES THAT RELATE DIRECTLY TO OBESITY, SUCH AS SLEEP APNEA, HYPERTENSION, PALPATATIONS, LOW BACK PAINS, JOINT PAIN IN KNEES AS WELL AS A FEW OTHERS. WHAT DO THEY WANT? DO THEY THINK I'M GOING TO GO AWAY? NOT HARDLY. ANY SUGGESTIONS? — CINDY D. (posted on May 16, 2003)

Hi Cindy. You know I have been asking the same question lately lol. BCBS
tells me because the rules don't allow it because it violates MY privacy.
HAHAHA. Good Luck. Cindye
