I took the Vista Vitamins right after my surgery ( Probably for the first year) Until one day I went to purchase them and I could not get them. My doctor told me to buy Centrum Chewables ( 4 a day) Calcium Chews ( 4 a day) and B12 -- The cost was greatly reduced. I have been taking these for about 3 yrs now. And all my blood work, etc, come out fine.

I don't know about Vista but if you have a Walgreens Drug Store nearby you can get a Bariatric formula there. It is OPTISOURCE BY Resource specially formulated for use after bariatric surgery. Has everything in it. Is a chewable. Tastes like a dreamciycle. You know orange and vanilla icecream. You do 1 four times a day or 2 times a day. The four times a day is better for your body but some of us can not remember so my Dr. pushes for twice a day just to get us to take our vitamins. My labs have all been great and the cost is around $27 monthly. Considerably cheaper than the combination I purchased on this site. Also I do not have to take the B complex and calcium separate. It is all in there. If you do not have a Walgreens in your area you can call 1-800-828-9194 or go to www.resource.walgreens.com to order these vitamins. I hope I have been helpful. Good Luck and God Bless, Norma P.S. I was told it takes 8 children's chewables a day to get in enough vitamins for an adult in our situation.

I've never heard of those. I take a adult Centrum Chewable in the morning along with chewable calcium. About Iron and Calcium -- don't take them at the same time -- they cancel each other out. Take one and then take the other 2 hours later. When I was being preped for surgery the nurse told us because she takes both and wondered why the meds where helping and then her doctore told her not to take them at the same time.
