Question:
Has anyone ever felt??
With all that's going not right, I'm feeling sort of lost and alone in all this. The hospital wants a $20,000 check before I go in and so does the surgen. The other costs are killing me as well and now my health is taking a worse turn (kidneys and eyes are going bad due to the diabetes, this is new since Friday). It just feels like it's all going wrong no matter how well planned I started out. Is this a sign? Do I just push through? Where do I start/go now?? I'm feeling very alone out here. — MaryLisa D. OK unless I read your profile too fast you have insurance? BCBS PPO of NJ?
YOU should not be paying that much out of pocket. I had a doc try and
charge me $18,500 before surgery not including what my insurance would pay.
I had to change docs and find someone in-network. It just doesn't sound
right. Call your insurance company there is something called an
out-of-pocket limit. So even if you are responsible for 20% of your bill
it can't exceed a certain amount. I have BCBS PPO of GA my out of pocket
limit is $2,000. Please check into it more carefully. Good luck:)!
