Question:
how can you tell if something is stuck, I can't sleep on either of my sides.
I have a pain in the center of the breast bone when I get on my sides to sleep. It is like something cutting my breath off. It just always feels like a knot that will not go away. I have not thrown up or anything like that and do not have any trouble consuming foods or liquids. I am 5 weeks out. — KIM B. (posted on November 9, 2003)

Sorry, I've never experienced what you're feeling. When I have something
that is stuck or not sitting right, I tend to get a foamy type saliva which
hangs around and eventually makes me throw up.

I had the same feeling and it was a stricture. The dr did a endoscopy and
opened it back up. While he was in there, he found a ulcer as well. I
would get it checked out by your dr asap.

I had the same feeling. Felt like a huge kot in my breastbone area. It was
so strange, no vomiting...nothing...it turned out to be an huge ulcer that
had formed after a bout with the flu. It was due to the chewable flu
medications (OTC"S) that I took. Go see the Dr. and good luck :)
