how can you tell if something is stuck, I can't sleep on either of my sides.

I have a pain in the center of the breast bone when I get on my sides to sleep. It is like something cutting my breath off. It just always feels like a knot that will not go away. I have not thrown up or anything like that and do not have any trouble consuming foods or liquids. I am 5 weeks out.
