I would check with your surgeon but that sounds pretty good! The only thing
is that I don't think you will be able to consume the 11 ounces post op. It
will take you forever to do it anways.

I agree with Jamie, check with your surgeon. By the way, what is the name
of this and where can I get it? Might have to try some.

Sounds good but I just found Worldwide Pure Protein at GNC...it tastes
pretty good and has 35gr yet only 170 cal, 4 carbs and 2 sugar.

I have found there are so many protein drinks out there, but you have to
watch for the amount of fat and sugar in them. It looks like this
particular one has 10 grams of fat and 35 grams of sugar. I wouldn't want
to use it due to the high sugar. 10 g of fat isn't too bad if you aren't
eating anything with fat, but if you are supplementing your diet with this
drink, you may want to reconsider due to the fat, but more importantly the
sugar grams. I can handle 12-18 grams of sugar at one sitting, but that is
twice the amount. A lot of wasted calories and could possibly (likely)
cause dumping.
Try www.unjury.com for a great protein supplement made for wls
patients.

That's a little higher in calories than I like to get for 305g protein, but
not too bad. Have you tried any of the powders? They mix with water, can
give you the same protein for far fewer calories (when made with water) and
cost about 1/3 of the cans. The bit of vitamin in this isn't worth much to
us, but the protein itself sounds ok, in a high volume expensive way.
