Question:
Is there anyone who has experienced fluid build up around their (LP)access port?

I had lap band surgery in April. At my last two visits to my surgeon he removed over 500 cc's of fluid from my stomach area. I have a small melon shaped hump on my left side.The fluid builds back up quickly. My doctor claims this is my body's reaction to having foreign material implanted. I had lap band Oct.12th and I have fluid around my port, I've had my drained 3 times and i have a hump on my right side and it stays sore all the time I go back to the doctor Dec.30th and I know I will have to have it drained again. My doctor says this should go away but I would like to know when.
