list of pre-op questions needed ASAP! Lost my list

HELP a pre-op NEED pre-op QUESTiONS!!!!!!! Panic setting in my 1:1 is tomorrow someone had posted a great list of pre-op questions. I thought I had saved the list but I have not HELP ALlof a sudden i feel in a panic, cannot think of any????????....    — ET (posted on October 30, 2005)

Hoping im not to late, Thing you might want to know? How long is the hospital stay going to be? What Items should you bring to the hospital? What can i expect after I get out of surgery? Will you send me home with a list of things I can and can not have? When can I go from one food stage to another? What kind of medications am I allowed to take after surgery? I am sure your surgeon and nurses will cover all of these on there own. Usually they leave you with no questions but if one does arise they leave you with a phone number to contact them at any given moment. Im not exzactly sure my questions are what you were thinking of because they are all ones that your Drs. should explain already. Calm down! Deep breaths! I know how you feel, I woke up the morning of my surgery (8/30/05) feeling like I was going to my execution! But I survived, and so will you! Try asking your doctor or nurse what the commonest questions they're asked are, and the answers. That should take care of it.
