Could anyone tell me exactly what type of blood work I need to have done annually? I know a lipid profile and a COMPREHENSIVE METABOLIC PROFILE.Are there any other ones required. Thanks so much.Have a Blessed Day! — tamron (posted on May 23, 2011)

My surgeon runs the following on me: CMP; CBC with Diff; Serum Iron; Total
Iron Binding Capacity; Ferritin. B-12 level; Folate; Vitamin D 25-OH. Then
my family provider adds a Thyroid panel and Lipid panel.
Hope this helps.....RNY 2 June 09

If you were diagnosed with diabetes you should have a fasting HA1C also.

my doctor gives me a script page with it all printed out what he wants to
see and I just hand it to the dr who does my blood draw since it is not the
same doctor
