Question:
Digestive gurgles and growls?

I am just about 5 years post op and all is well would not have done anything different. The only thing I seem to get from time to time are these periods of non stop stomach or digestive gurgles and growls.Does anyone else ever get the loud digestive gurgles and growls? I'm about a year and a half out and I occasionally get like that also...you are not alone. I'm sorry I dont know what causes it. When it happens in public I just giggle along with everyone else. No biggie.

I am 2 1/2 mo from band surgery and I as well get those noises, I tend to get that right after meals especially higher fat meal and also if I eat candy with the sugar alcohols.

I'm 8 months out and I have the same issue! It's not painful but it can be a little embarassing. Unfortunately, I don't have any suggestions on how to reduce them.

I am 18 months out from RNY and my surgeon says to take Pro-Biotics when I get that way. I have had to do this a couple a times. It does seem to help. It takes a week or so for the pills to start working and I take them for about a month. It also helps with gas.

I am two months out from lapband sugery and occassionally get gurgles and growls.
