High protein diet and protein drinks. Remember those keep you full for
most of the day! I noticed you like needlework and crocheting.
Crosswords? Video games? Cross stitch maybe? Christmas is coming up,
keep your hands busy (and yr mind as well) to get it off the head hunger.
Not sure what exercises to do, call your nutritionist for that. Congrats
on the weight loss, good luck and God bless!

You had mentioned grapes. I've got a different twist on grapes. Wash you
grapes and place them in a flat bottomed storage container, sprinkle 1 box
of s/f jello over the wet grapes, stir to cover. Place them in the
freezer. Enjoy. I use cherry s/f jello. Good luck with your vacation.

I agree! work on things that you wouldn't want to pause during - a fancy
knitted or crocheted shawl or a special cross stitch piece. You know you
don't want food around while working on those :)
Can you left weights and work on your upper body for a while? leg lifts?
I know that sitting on those exercise balls burn more calories than just
sitting in a chair but that won't help until you can have your foot down.
Fantastic progress so far and happy thoughts for what you will continue
doing!! Congrats!

Boohoo! Broken foot. I broke mine a couple years ago so you've got my
sympathy!
I had a couple years ago and was immobilized with my leg out straight for 2
months. I signed up for an unlimited, 3 out at a time, Netflix membership
and it was wonderful. I certainly got my money's worth!!
You also might want to check out your local library. Mine lends books, but
also CDs, DVDs, and videos.
Are you in cast or a removable boot? If you are in a boot, find a swimming
pool... swimming, water aerobics, and water walking are great low impact
activities... but check with your doctor first.
Also, you may have to do some searching but there are exercise videos that
are meant to be done sitting done.... marketed mostly to people in
wheelchairs or with mobility problems, but exercise is exercise.
Since you are looking for new snacks, why don't you go to the library (or
bookstore) and find some cook books and expand your snack and meal
selection.
I think it would be really fun to buy a music keyboard or guitar or some
other instrument and learn to play... you can find lots of online/video/dvd
lessons.
Puzzles, knitting, crochet, games (scrabble is fun, even by yourself), and
arts 'n crafts are fun.
You might also want to see if there are any organizations that need
volunteers... one thing you can do at home is stuff and mail envelopes.
Learn a new hobby.
As far as snacks, I loove frozen grapes, rinse, dry them well, then
freeze... frozen banana slices... homemade popsicles... i like cold
things. Fruit smoothies, homemade meat and vegetable soup... I'm drawing a
blank but check out those cook books!
Best wishes,
